ZuThailand 2024.
ZuThailand, a two-month long pop-up city for Web3 enthusiasts,
presented a unique opportunity to rethink how decentralized
identity and reputation could be fostered in an ephemeral, yet
highly interactive community. Unlike traditional conferences,
ZuThailand demanded a system that not only enabled engagement but
also amplified it—bridging real-world interactions with
blockchain-based solutions.
To meet this challenge, we leveraged Sign Protocol, an omni-chain
attestation platform, to design a gamified identity system that
fosters friendly competition and community engagement. This app
was exclusive to ZuThailand residents and visitors, allowing
participants to build dynamic, verifiable profiles based on their
activities—such as attending events, checking into spaces, and
meeting other residents—all of which were attested on the
blockchain.
